Invitation to Tender for the
Procurement of Farmland Clearing Services
Good Neighbors Ethiopia (GNE)
hereby invites qualified, competent and experienced service providers to submit
sealed tenders for the provision of mechanized farmland preparation and
clearing services for refugee and host community beneficiaries located at Ura
Refugee Settlement Site and Akuda Tumet Kebele, Ura Woreda. Benishangu Gumuz
Regional State.
1. Scope of the Service
The successful bidder shall
provide mechanized farmland preparation and clearing accordance with the
technical specifications scope, and locations detailed in the bidding
documents.
2. Mandatory Site (Field) Visit
- A mandatory site (field) visit
shall be conducted to enable bidder to familiarize
Themselves with the site
conditions, scope of work and operational environment.
- Attendance at the site visit is
compulsory. Bidders who fail to attend shall be disqualified from further
consideration.

3. Purchase of Bidding Documents
Interested bidders may obtain the
bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 600 (Six Hundred
Ethiopian Birr).

4. Eligibility and Required
Documents
Bidders must submit copies of the
following valid and renewed documents together with their bid:
1. Business license issued by the
appropriate government authority for the relevant sector;
2. Legal receipt;
3. VAT registration certificate;
4. Tax clearance certificate;
5. Taxpayer Identification Number
(TIN) certificate:
6. CPO equivalent to 2% of the
total bid price:

willingness and capacity to deliver the services at the specified locations.
5. Bid Submission
- Bidders shall submit a completed, signed, and
stamped Bid Form in the name of Good Neighbors Ethiopia, clearly indicating the
total bid price inclusive of the 2% CPO.
- Bids must be submitted in a sealed
envelope. containing the original and copy of the financial proposal and the
original and copy of the technical proposal, each in separate envelopes.
- Late or electronic submissions shall not be
accepted.

Any bid that does not fully
comply with the requirements stated in this tender notice and the bidding
